The country's health authorities have reported 565 further coronavirus related fatalities in the last 24 hours - a slight fall on the previous day's figure of 585.
The total number of infections has passed 190,000.
The good news is that more than 74,000 people in Spain have been fully recovered.
Authorities confimed that the strict confinement rules are expected to be extended beyond 26 April.
